The work

Every one of these is live. Here’s the story on each.

Roofers, plumbers, a bison ranch, a hope line, a train depot, a city hall, and a fire department platform. Every screenshot came off the live site, and every button takes you there.

WatchRoom

Built for fire departments

Fire department software that reads the station like a morning brief.

WatchRoom is a full software product the studio designed, built, and runs. A department logs calls, fuel receipts, truck checks, training, and gear in one place, and the home screen opens with a daily brief: how the night went, who's on shift, and which apparatus still needs checking before it goes back in service. It pulls live National Weather Service alerts for the district, tracks ISO readiness, and is built around NERIS reporting so the paperwork side of a call stops eating the shift.

  • Multi-department accounts and roles
  • Calls, truck checks, time clock, training
  • NERIS and ISO readiness tracking
  • Live NWS weather alerts
  • PDF and spreadsheet exports

Local Lantern

Statewide, Alabama

A front porch for Alabama news, events, and local shops.

Local Lantern is the studio's own community platform for Alabama: local stories, an events calendar, a bulletin board people can pin notes to, a business directory, and a weekly email called the Dispatch. People sign in, post, and send tips, and businesses get a listing that actually links back to them. It's the biggest thing on the wall, and it's where accounts, feeds, maps, and search got proven against real people using them every day.

  • Accounts, profiles, and posting
  • News, events, and a corkboard bulletin
  • Business directory with featured listings

Piedmont's city hall, rebuilt so people can actually find things.

The official website for the City of Piedmont. Staff post news and events themselves, council agendas live as searchable PDFs, residents can pay a bill in two clicks, and the whole site translates for neighbors who need it.

Southern Railroad Depot Museum

Piedmont, Alabama

An 1868 train depot with a booking system behind it.

The Piedmont Historical Society runs its museum out of a restored 1868 railroad depot, and the site had to feel like that: warm paper, old-line type, a red caboose out front. Behind the history there's real machinery. Teachers book field trips, families rent the depot for $150 a day, people RSVP to events and join the newsletter, and volunteers run all of it from a staff console on their own.

  • Field trip and depot rental booking
  • Events with RSVP
  • Memberships and donations
  • Newsletter with double opt-in

Marked For Life Ministries

Fort Payne, Alabama

A 24/7 hope line, a free clinic, and a give button that never makes you hunt.

Marked For Life runs a round-the-clock Hope Line, a resource center, a free clinic, and a home where men rebuild their lives. The new site puts the phone number in the header on every page and the giving card right in the hero, monthly or one-time, with a plain sentence about what $35 a month actually buys. Then it lets the numbers talk: 51,000 crisis calls answered and 80,000 pounds of food rescued since 2020. They came off Wix without a single old link breaking.

  • Hope Line call button on every page
  • Monthly and one-time giving card
  • Impact numbers and program pages

The job gallery is his own photos: basement rough-ins, a sewer line dug and backfilled, a freestanding tub against a stone wall. Then a giant phone number for the 2am emergencies. Boundary Line Bison

Piedmont, Alabama

America's original red meat.

A grass-fed bison ranch on the south edge of the old Cherokee boundary line, and possibly the longest continuous bison operation in Alabama. The hero is the herd up close, the type is a western slab serif, and the colors come straight from the pasture. They sell more than meat (bone broth, hides, skulls, starter herds, herb visits) so the site says so, then hands off to their Facebook feed for the day-to-day ranch life.

Ladiga Memory Lab

Piedmont, Alabama

Old tapes and photos, made digital.

VHS, Hi8, MiniDV, and the shoebox of prints in the closet, converted to files on a USB drive. The hero plays an actual old home video in a phone-shaped frame, fuzz and all. That's the whole pitch. Pricing is flat and up front (per tape, any length, and photos cheaper by the hundred) and the site speaks to families, estates, and historical societies separately, because they're not looking for the same thing.

  • Home video hero player
  • Flat-rate pricing table
